Fall Disciple and Membership Classes:
New believers are invited to participate in our "Followers of Christ" class with Rev. Gibbs, starting on Sun., Sept. 12, 19, & 25 at 10:00 am. Membership classes will follow on Sun., Oct. 3, 10 & 17 at 10:00 am. Forms are available at the Ushers Table.

Sat., Sept. 11, noon: The Annual Jesus in the City Parade takes place in Queen's Park Circle. Rev. Gibbs will be hosting the event. For more information, see the bulletin board.
Starting Sun., Sept. 12, following Morning Service: There will be Combined Choir practice in preparation of our 184th Anniversary Celebrations. All members are invited to participate.
Mon., Sept. 13, 7:00 p.m.: In continuing the process of healing and reconciliation, we will hold another meeting with Rev. Kathy Smith. All are invited and welcome to attend.
Sat., Sept. 18, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Senior Choir invites you to a Chicken and Ham Dinner. Cost: Free. Come out and enjoy fellowship and great food with us. Please RSVP on the sign-up sheet at the Ushers Table.
Donations: Our church is accepting Christian books, music and materials for the Christian Salvage Mission, an organization that shares surplus materials with missionaries and churches around the world. There is a drop box at the back of the sanctuary. For more information, contact Joan Williams.
Call for Volunteers:
A Peace of Life, a Rwandan youth peace project supported by FBC, welcomes anyone interested in the project to join the fundraising committee. The Board of Trustees is looking for at least 4 volunteers to assist with the parking in the two lots on Sunday mornings: Heydon Park School from 10:15 to 11:00 and the Church till 11:00. If you are willing to serve in this capacity, please see Dennis Provo. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Building on the Legacy Update - Sweatshirts ($22) and t-shirts ($10) are still available. Please speak to Deacon Beatrice Provo for more information. There is a jar near the Ushers Table for on-going donations and an additional offering collected on the third Sunday of each month. You may also donate online.
Foot Clinic (2nd Thursdays, 2:00 p.m.): A Foot Clinic for seniors will be held at the Church and will be run by two of our RN Nurses (Sisters Laura Tynes & Gayle Viera). This service will be available to our Church family and to the community. To book your appointment, please call (905) 274-6467.
Hymn Sing (3rd Sundays, 2:30 p.m.): Join a group of FBC members as they fellowship and sing hymns with the seniors at Kensington Gardens. For more information, contact Deacon Beatrice Provo.
Mini Food Bank: Sponsored by the Tolliver Missionary Circle. Place any non-perishable items at the back of the Church by the Ushers Table or in the blue box located in the corner. People with a need may come to the Church for assistance on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday Parking
- Heydon Park School Lot: Parking is now available. Those arriving before 11:00 a.m. are encouraged to park there. All others are asked to park in the Church's lot. We further ask that those using the school lot to remove their cars as soon as possible following the service.
- Church Lot: We would greatly appreciate your cooperation in following the instructions of those directing parking. Last in, first out. If you are blocking other cars in the Church lot, please be considerate by moving your car as soon as possible following the service.
